- Only 1 built in
- 2 workarounds

One Hidden album per iPhone. Here is how people keep separate private collections anyway.

- **Built in:** 1
- **Workarounds:** 2

**Quick answer:** No. iPhone has exactly **one Hidden album** and you can't create more. For separate private collections, use several **locked notes** (photos only, no video) or a **vault app**. In VaultForYou, each pattern you draw opens a different vault; more than one vault needs Premium.

Questions

## Multiple hidden albums: questions

### Can you have multiple hidden albums on iPhone?

No. The Photos app has one Hidden album and doesn't let you add more. To separate private photos into groups, use locked notes or a vault app that supports several vaults.

### Can I make folders inside the Hidden album?

No. The Hidden album is a single flat list of photos and videos. You can't add folders or sub-albums inside it.

### Do locked notes all use the same password?

Yes. All locked notes in one account use the same notes password or your iPhone passcode. Different notes can't have different passwords.

### How do separate vaults work in VaultForYou?

Each vault opens with its own pattern. Drawing a different pattern opens a different vault, and the lock screen doesn't list vault names or counts. More than one vault is part of Premium.
